This is a tour to discover some of the heritage and culture of West Wales.

We travel northwards across the edge of the dramatic Preseli Hills to the pretty and elegant former county town of Cardigan. Built around the beautiful river Teifi and dramatic Norman castle it was once an important boat-building town. This is a market town and cultural centre with its theatre, galleries and varied shopping.

It is largely Welsh speaking community and you will see many colourful shops with their signs in the Welsh language and find it is commonly used by shop workers and customers alike on a day to day basis.  I will help you to learn a few useful words of Welsh enroute! 

Further up stream is the picturesque village of Cenarth, famous for its waterfall and leaping salmon in season. Home to the National Coracle Centre and 17^th Century Mill, no visit is really complete without a stop here and time to enjoy the peaceful riverside views.

Later, and following the Teifi valley for much of the way, we visit the National Wool Museum** at Drefach Felindre. Come and discover about wool production and weaving. You will be amazed to discover that this small village was once the centre of a thriving woollen industry.
