Biographie
J'ai grandi à Ynys Mȏn, sur l'île d'Anglesey, et je parle couramment le gallois. Je suis passionnée par l'idée de partager mon amour de ma patrie avec les visiteurs et ceux qui s'intéressent plus particulièrement à l'histoire de la région, notamment à l'histoire de l'art et de l'architecture. En plus d'être guide officiel du Pays de Galles du Nord, je travaille également comme historienne de l'art à l'université de Liverpool et dans l'équipe chargée de l'expérience des visiteurs à la TATE de Liverpool. Je m'intéresse particulièrement à la manière dont le paysage du nord du Pays de Galles a inspiré et influencé des générations d'artistes depuis le milieu du XVIIIe siècle jusqu'à aujourd'hui. En plus de mon travail de guide, je donne des conférences et des exposés à des groupes de l'Art Society, je suis un conférencier accrédité et j'écris sur une variété de sujets dans le monde de l'art. L'une de mes visites spécifiques porte sur la manière dont le paysage du nord du Pays de Galles a contribué à développer la perception unique de JMW Turner et son sens du sentiment romantique dans ses peintures.
