Biografie
Ich bin auf Ynys Mȏn, der Insel Anglesey, aufgewachsen und spreche fließend Walisisch als Muttersprache. Es ist meine Leidenschaft, meine Liebe zu meiner Heimat mit Besuchern und Menschen zu teilen, die ein besonderes Interesse an der Geschichte der Region haben, insbesondere an der Kunst- und Architekturgeschichte. Ich bin nicht nur offizieller North Wales Green Badge Guide, sondern arbeite auch als Kunsthistorikerin an der University of Liverpool und im Visitor Experience Team bei TATE Liverpool. Mein besonderes Interesse gilt der Frage, wie die Landschaft von Nordwales Generationen von Künstlern von der Mitte des 18. Jahrhunderts bis heute inspiriert und beeinflusst hat. Neben meiner Tätigkeit als Fremdenführerin halte ich Vorlesungen und Vorträge für Kunstvereine, bin akkreditierte Dozentin und schreibe über eine Vielzahl von Themen aus der Kunstwelt. Eine meiner speziellen Führungen befasst sich mit der Frage, wie die Landschaft von Nordwales JMW Turners einzigartige Wahrnehmung und seinen Sinn für romantische Gefühle in seinen Gemälden geprägt hat.
