TOUR DESCRIPTION

Bosherston, St Govan and Freshwater West

This is a lovely half day tour to discover the South West corner of the county that is often referred to as the Pembrokeshire Coast tour.

We travel through lovely countryside to pretty Bosherston village and its quaint ivy covered tea room where we can enjoy delicious homemade refreshments.

The Bosherston lily ponds on the National Trust's Stackpole Estate are accessible for those who are able to negotiate the fairly steep and uneven foot path, although the lilies are only flowering for a short period mostly during June and possibly early July.

If the Castlemartin firing range is open we are able to visit the tiny church of the 6th Century hermit St Govan nestling dramatically in a fissure of the cliff. There are approx 52 steps down to the church, although legend says that they are impossible to count accurately so that the number is never the same!

At Freshwater West the premier surfing beach in Wales and recently much favoured as a film location, we have beautiful coastal views and negotiate towering sand dunes.

If time allows we can stop at Pembroke for some free time.

**Cars and MInibuses for Private tours can be organised by me-please ask for quotes.
