Two hundred years ago North Wales roofed the world and many centuries before that our sheep clothed the backs of slaves and soldiers and we're still making our living out of these miraculous industries today.  Visit a farm and watch the clever sheepdogs at work and  a woolen mill to see the fleeces being spun and woven and shop for quality Welsh woolen goods. Then marvel at the immensity of disused slate quarry that once employed thousands of men and watch the craftsmen split and dress slate and take home your own crafted mementos.
