A  leisurely walking tour of the city centre to see the key sites including the elegant civic centre, Bute Park and Cardiff Castle, the Wales Millennium Centre, the independent shops in the 19th century shopping arcades, Cardiff's 19th century market and St John's medieval church.

The tour could be extended to a full day ; options include include visiting  Cardiff Bay and the barrage, Llandaff Cathedral, Caerphilly Castle or St Fagans open air museum of Welsh Life. Transport would be required for these extended visits.
