TOUR DESCRIPTION
This is tour to visit four exceptional gardens in the Vale of Clwyd, North East Wales.
Come to Wales for a day tour to visit four private quality gardens of character and interest.
The gardens range from a cottage garden on an 18th century working farm of a Welsh family who are producers of the Llaeth y Llan (Village Dairy) yogurt creamery. Across the valley at Clwydryn, this is a ½ acre plants women’s garden. The third garden in the site of Dibleys Nurseries, it is an 8 acre arboretum with a wide selection of rare and unusual trees that also has ¼ acre of glasshouses with spectacular vibrant colours of streptocarpus house plants, where plants can be purchased. The final site at Aberclwyd Manor is a 4 acre garden on a sloping hillside overlooking the Upper Clwyd Valley.
The tour is in a scenic rolling valley following the Clwydian Range (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), calling at that medieval town of Ruthin for lunch (not included).
Refreshments will also be provided at the gardens.
The tour will be escorted by a qualified and insured Blue Badge tourist guide.
All the gardens are accessible to people with mobility issues.
We recommend that the group bring weatherproof clothing and flat shoes for walking on uneven ground.

Price per person £30 per person that includes services of guide, entrance to gardens and refreshments at the gardens.
All you need to supply a coach or minibus. Note that rural roads are not suitable for vehicles with double axles on the rear of coaches.
