Vale of Clwyd Gardens

This is tour to visit four exceptional gardens in the Vale of Clwyd, North East Wales.

Come to Wales for a day tour to visit four private quality gardens of character and interest.

The gardens range from a cottage garden on an 18th century working farm of a Welsh family who are producers of the Llaeth y Llan (Village Dairy) yogurt creamery. Across the valley at Clwydryn, this is a ½ acre plants women’s garden. The third garden in the site of Dibleys Nurseries, it is an 8 acre arboretum with a wide selection of rare and unusual trees that also has ¼ acre of glasshouses with spectacular vibrant colours of streptocarpus house plants, where plants can be purchased. The final site at Aberclwyd Manor is a 4 acre  garden on a sloping hillside overlooking the Upper Clwyd Valley.

The tour is in a scenic rolling valley following the Clwydian Range (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), calling at that medieval town of Ruthin for lunch (not included).

Refreshments will also be provided at the gardens.

The tour will be escorted by a qualified and insured Blue Badge tourist guide.
