With a background in Wales Tourist Information and cultural and heritage sites in South East Wales becoming a tourist guide was a natural progression.

Born and brought up in Cardiff and love gardens, coast, nature and the outdoors.  I am very familiar with National Trust Wales property portfolio having worked in the organisation for a decade.  

More than a decade spent working with visitors to Wales has given me a great understanding of the places visitors like to see the most and the ability to communicate clearly.  Overseas visitors find me very easy to understand if English is not their first language.

When I’m not working as a guide I can be found working at Cardiff’s iconic Cardiff Castle or at Museum of Cardiff.  Hobbies include walking, gardening, sewing and art.

For eight years I studied British Sign Language and am passionate about making tourism accessible. I am currently studying for the T-Guide Qualification. This is a course accredited by the Federation of European Tourist Guides which will prepare for guiding for all, but in particular, for groups and individuals with Additional Learning needs.
