Guided Tours of Wales currently offers specialised guided sightseeing tours in South East Wales and Mid Wales for those who want to discover the real Wales.  

I can provide guided coach sightseeing tours, guided walking sightseeing tours as well as site visits to many attractions for any sized group.

About me.  

I was born and raised in Wales, I grew up in my family country hotel in Mid Wales.  This is where I developed a love of talking to our visitors and storytelling.  

This I went on to study tourism at A-Level then undergraduate degree in Tourism Management at Cardiff Met, followed by a Masters in Responsible Tourism. I have over 20 years’ experience working in the tourism industry, before qualifying as a Green Badge Tourist Guide in 2021.  I am also a Brecon Beacons National Park Ambassador. 

I am passionate about my Welsh heritage; it’s landscape, culture, history, people and food. I have strong Welsh roots and can trace my family back over 1,000 years. I can also claim descent from Elystan Glodrydd, (c 10 th -11 th century) founder of the fifth Royal Tribe of Wales.  I’m a Welsh language learner, so expect some Welsh included in your tour.
