I’m pleased to share that I am now an official White Badge Guide with the Wales Official Tourist Guides Association.
This is something I’m very proud of, and it feels like a natural next step alongside my work with North Wales Chauffeurs. Through the business, I’ve spent years helping people travel around North Wales in comfort, whether they are here for business, a holiday, a special occasion, or simply because they’d rather not spend the day dealing with traffic, parking, and directions.
For me, travel has always been about more than getting from one place to another. A good journey should feel smooth, professional, and enjoyable. People remember whether they felt looked after, whether the day ran well, and whether they came away with a real sense of the place they had visited.
That is why becoming an official White Badge Guide means so much to me. North Wales has so much to offer: stunning scenery, rich history, beautiful coastline, and strong local identity. This new role allows me to share that in a more formal way, while still offering the same personal service that is at the heart of North Wales Chauffeurs.

Becoming a White Badge Guide is not just a title. It represents training, commitment, and the responsibility to guide visitors properly. I take that seriously, because when people trust you with their time, they deserve an experience that is well planned, enjoyable, and personal.
I’ve always felt that guiding should be interesting and natural. It should help people connect with a place rather than overwhelm them with information. Some visitors want history and heritage. Some want local stories. Some simply want to enjoy the area and understand a little more about what makes it special. Good guiding is about knowing the difference.
That is very similar to my approach with North Wales Chauffeurs. Good service is usually about getting the details right, understanding what the client wants, and making everything feel easy. Whether I’m meeting someone at the airport or helping them explore North Wales, I want them to feel they are in safe hands.
When I set up North Wales Chauffeurs, my aim was simple: to offer a premium service that is reliable, comfortable, and professional. That applies whether a client is booking business travel, an airport transfer, a private tour, or transport for a special event.
This new guiding role builds on that. Many clients want more than just transport. They want local knowledge, flexibility, and a more personal experience. They want to enjoy North Wales without worrying about routes, timing, or finding parking in places they’ve never visited before.
By combining chauffeur travel with official guiding, I can now offer something more complete. For some guests, that may mean a tailored tour with local insight along the way. For others, it may simply mean travelling with someone who knows the region well and can help shape the day around what they want to see.
That is where North Wales Chauffeurs and guiding work so well together. It is about making travel feel easier, more enjoyable, and more personal.
North Wales attracts all kinds of visitors. Some come for the mountains, some for the castles and coastline, and some for a short break away. Others are here on business and only have limited time. Whatever brings them here, most people want to make the most of their visit.
That is where this combination of guiding and chauffeur travel can make a real difference. Instead of spending time planning every detail, driving unfamiliar roads, and trying to fit everything in, visitors can relax and enjoy the day. They can focus on the scenery, the places, and the experience itself.
I also think people get more from North Wales when they have some local knowledge along the way. It might be a bit of history, a recommendation, or simply context that helps a place make more sense. Those small details are often what people remember most.
As a fluent Welsh speaker, I also value being able to share a bit more of the culture and identity of the area. Language is an important part of North Wales, and sometimes it is those smaller details that help a place feel more real and memorable.

This is not only relevant for leisure visitors. I believe it is also valuable for corporate clients. North Wales welcomes business travellers throughout the year, and when companies are arranging transport for clients, colleagues, or guests, the overall experience matters.
Through North Wales Chauffeurs, I already provide executive travel, airport transfers, and business transport. What this new role adds is the opportunity to offer something extra when clients want more than a standard journey.
A visiting guest may have free time before a flight. A company may want to give clients a better sense of the region. A business trip may include time for a more tailored experience. In those situations, combining professional transport with local guiding makes a lot of sense.
It helps create a more polished and memorable visit, while still keeping the same high standards of service, discretion, and reliability.

One of the best things about North Wales is the variety. Within a short distance, you have mountains, coastline, historic towns, castles, and some truly beautiful scenery.
Eryri, or Snowdonia, is one of the obvious highlights, and travelling through it in comfort makes a big difference. Conwy offers history and character in abundance. Llandudno has its own charm, with its seafront and the Great Orme. Anglesey offers a different pace, with striking coastal views and a strong sense of place.
For some guests, the day may begin with an airport transfer from Chester or Manchester and continue into a private itinerary around North Wales. For others, it may be a more relaxed scenic day with a few carefully chosen stops. That flexibility is one of the things I enjoy most about the work I do through North Wales Chauffeurs.
Becoming an official White Badge Guide is a milestone I’m very proud of, and I see it as the start of an exciting new chapter. It allows me to build on the service I already offer through North Wales Chauffeurs while giving visitors an even better way to experience North Wales.
I’m looking forward to welcoming people in this new role and helping them enjoy the region in a way that feels comfortable, personal, and well organised. Whether someone is visiting for business, planning a private day out, or simply looking for a better way to explore, I hope this gives them even more confidence in what I can offer.
North Wales has a huge amount to share, and I feel very fortunate to be able to introduce people to it through my work. If you would like to learn more about me or North Wales Chauffeurs, I’d be very happy to hear from you.
